We are the new Eco-Committee and we have had a busy start to the term. We have had our first committee meeting, made a scarecrow for the APES (Abbots Parish Eco Schools) and started our environmental review.
Our school celebrated ECO day on 6th October with lots of exciting activities. Each Year group explored different ways to care for our planet. The EYFS learnt how to care for wildlife and mini-beasts. KS1 focused their learning on biodiversity. KS2 studied energy, climate change and the benefit of electric vehicles.
At our second meeting of the term we discussed our environmental review and ideas for our action plan.
