Geography

The children have been learning a lot of new geography skills across the creative curriculum.
It is lovely to be able to explore geography through our Forest School and the children are enjoying doing so.
In Year 1 the children have been using a world map to locate the different countires they have visited.
In Year 2 the children have learnt all about the capital city, London, through investigating the Great Fire of London.
Year 3 have been investigating the journey made by the Romans  and used a map to find out what countires they had been to.
In Year 4 the children are investigating the similarities and differences between the United Kingdom and other European and Non European countries.
The children have been exloring our local geography in Year 5. They have used maps to locate our school and other locations and landmarks around us.
Year 6 have located all countries involved in World War 2 on a world map and discussed the location of the allies to Britain.
