Music is a strong and important part of the St Paul's curriculum.
This year we are using the BBC Ten Pieces to inspire our music lessons and each class has chosen 3 pieces it will focus on. In the Autumn term went to the Barbican to hear live music played by the London Symphony Orchestra. Key Stage 1 went to Peter and the Wolf and Key Stage 2 saw Presto and Zesto in Limboland.
We have had some super Christmas singing throughout the school at our EYFS and KS1 nativities and at the KS2 Carol Concert.
This year's Year 5 have performed on the ukulele at the Advent Market and in a class assembly. In addition, four pupil who receive drum lessons treated us to a show-stopping performance at the end of term. Our choir continues to go from strength to strength performing at St Paul's Church and singing at a local care home. Next stop the o2!
