In class, we learnt about how the Ancient Romans decorated their houses. They would often paint the walls with images in vivid colours and would also decorate the walls and floor with an image made up of lots of different tiles: this is called a mosaic.
We looked at different examples of Roman Mosaics. We thought carefully about what was happening in each image and what the images meant.
We worked in small groups to perform a tableaux, representing each image. We had to think carefully about our facial expressions and body positions, in order for the rest of the class to correctly guess which one we were showing.
