St Paul’s C of E VA Primary and Nursery School Nurturing a Love for Learning and Faith

So many things to write about linked to performance arts for our school at Christmas this year!

Firstly the Nativity Plays; KS1 performed a Nativity linked to "Strictly Come Dancing". There were many standout performances from the Year 2 children. The singing was superb and everyone displayed a huge amount of confidence.

EYFS then performed their Nativity in front of all of their families and friends. Considering these are our youngest performers they were amazing and very brave.

KS2 presented their Carol Service at St Paul's Church, in front of our new vicar, James. It was a memorable service with clear readings, reflective prayers and wonderful, joyous singing. Year 6, especially, played their part with confidence and clarity.

The School Choir has been busy too with performances at Watford Colosseum with the Watford School's Carol Concert and a special, invited performance at All Saints Church in Leavesden, as part of their Christmas Tree Festival. Year 6 helped decorate one of the trees linked to Christian values. The Choir was very professional, sang beautifully and were impeccably behaved, as always. They will also be singing at The Grove Hotel on Christmas Eve, as part of the Hotel guests festivities.

Thank you to everyone for all of their hard work and commitment at this busy time of year. These performances would not be as special, if it were not for the dedication of our children and staff. Thank you as well to our parents and families for always supporting such wonderful events. It makes such a difference.
