Is yeast a living thing?
Carl Linnaeus developed a classification system and this has been adapted and changed throughout the centuries. One of the domains is Eukarya and this includes fungi. When we researched different types of fungus, we found out that yeast is a fungs. In order to prove it was a living thing, we observed it respiring.
