Year 6 Trip to Holy Trinity Church
On Thursday 21st March, Y6 were taken by coach to Holy Trinity Church in St. Albans. We explored different parts of Jesus' life and the trip ended with a video reminding us of the true meaning of Easter - Jesus death and miraculous resurrection.
We used tablets to read and listen about Jesus and how he sacrificed his life. We were asked questions about our thoughts and feelings about Jesus - some of us have very differing views on what we believe in (we discovered).
After we finished in the tents, we went to another room where we were treated to a snack before taking an interactive quiz.
We really enjoyed our trip to Church and are grateful to the Churches and Diocese which covered all the costs - our parents did not have to pay a penny!
