We were very fortunate enough to have a visit today from the Dacorum Symphony Orchestra for two concerts. They performed to KS1 and then to KS2. They played pieces from Carmen, a piece by Vaughan-Williams and finished with Pomp and Circumstance Marches by Elgar. The children even joined in with Land of Hope and Glory. The children were brilliant, demonstrating great respect as audience members and answering lots of questions about the orchestra. The children in KS2 were very knowledgeable.
The DSO have a concert for families on the 13/3/16 in Kings Langley, which they are hoping some of our families will support. It was a real treat and a fantastic experience for the children.
