RE
This week in RE we looked at different shapes. The children were good at identifying the 4 main shapes. We then looked at x and thought of what it stands for- a ex, a cross or a kiss. We looked in Tessa and Tom's bag and saw they had a shape that was special to them- a cross. The children made the shape of a cross with their body and we spoke about why a cross may be important to Tessa and Tom- because they are Christians and they believe in God. In choosing time the children could draw round some shapes or draw or paint shapes. Some children painted some big tubes which we will turn into a big cross for our classroom.
