RE Day – 11th January 2019
To start off the day, we had an assembly with Reverend James and Archdeacon Jonathon who discussed St. Paul’s life with us. After that, we went on a prayer trail around the school grounds. The Lord’s Prayer had been divided into sections and we had to reflect on some key questions about its meaning. Then we set off to St. Paul’s church to learn more about the key parts of our church and why they are there. Some of us had some reflective prayer time in the graveyard too.
In the afternoon, we learnt a new song about the Lord’s Prayer with Miss Cohen before some spiritual dance based on the life of St. Paul with Mrs Whitby – we loved dancing with the rainbow ribbon! We all enjoyed Godly Play in our classes and we had an interesting question and answer session with Reverend James about his life and work at the end of the day.
