In our literacy groups, we were given a well-known fable to re-tell to the rest of the class. We started by reading the fable and discussing how we wanted to represent it. The other children in the class would have to guess the moral of the story when we performed it.
We had time to rehearse our performance together. We had to think about how to use our voices, actions and facial expressions effectively in order to tell a story.
Then, we performed our pieces and had feedback from our audience.
