Tallest Tower competition
Which family can build the tallest tower? Use any materials that you have at home to make the tallest free-standing tower (you have to be able to let go of it to count).
This is a test in perseverance so don’t give up if it collapses – try and try again!
Take a photo and send it in to school – winner per class to be announced.
Once you’ve finished, what can you find out about towers? Who lives in them? What are some famous ones? Where are they located? What can you imagine is the story behind your tower? |

Socially distant game
Your challenge this week is to create a socially distanced game that can be played with others in our class. Could take place on the playground? Or in the classroom? How many players in each game? How do you score points? Think about how you can explain and present the rules of your game. If you’re struggling, can you create a variation of a game that already exists? |

Recreating famous artwork
Your challenge this week is to recreate a famous artist’s artwork using only materials you have in your home.
Remember – it’s an off-screen challenge so make sure you’ve studied the artwork carefully in advance as you may not be able to look at it again until after you’ve taken your recreation photo! How similar can you make it? |
