Year 1

3rd April 2020

Hello to our lovely Year 1 class,

How are you all? You are all working very hard! We love seeing all the learning on Purple Mash and can’t wait to see the excellent learning in your home learning books. Remember to hand it in and read our comments. You can email us on the ‘2Email’ part of Purple Mash. We love receiving messages on there.

I (Miss Heraty) have kept Frankie very busy this week; she is learning to ride her scooter in the garden and we have been painting and using play dough, as well as her usual reading! She loves books! I even sorted the loft at the weekend! Keeping busy and exercising is really important! I can’t quite keep up with Joe Wicks but I am trying! Make sure you try and reply to my email so I know you are using Purple Mash.

I (Mrs Webster) helped an injured duck in our garden. We knew she was injured because there was a drop of blood on her wing and she couldn’t fly.  We get lots of animals in our garden. Every day there are rabbits and squirrels. Sometimes we see foxes and once we saw a beautiful deer while we were having our breakfast! I was wondering if you have a garden and what is it like?

I (Mrs Simmonds) have had a busy start to the week; by now you should all have all of your spellings, I have had some replies from some of you. If you want to leave me a message, I would love to hear some of your news!

Every day I have been going out for a walk. It has been very quiet but I have seen lots of things starting to grow. On Sunday I was able to buy some plants for my garden, so hopefully I will get some joy out of seeing them grow into strong plants.

Look forward to speaking to you next week.

All our love

Miss Heraty, Mrs Webster and Mrs Simmonds smiley
