Year 5

Friday 3rd April

Happy Friday Year 5!

I have loved watching all of the movies you have been busy creating this week. I hope they have kept you busy! You have shown some excellent ICT skills and creative ideas. It was also a pleasure reading your poems, you have worked hard to use ambitious vocabulary.
We have finally made it to the Easter break so enjoy 2 weeks of indoor play. Enjoy eating your Easter eggs and don't forget to check the website for some activities to keep you busy. There are lots of mindfulness, maths, PE, science and worship activities on the Home Learning page.
I know it hasn't been easy to stay at home but you are all doing something wonderful by helping our NHS and by keeping yourselves and others safe. I am glad that are all still well and keeping in touch. Do keep emailing, it has been lovely to hear what you have been up to.
Continue to keep safe and I look forward to seeing you soon.

As it has been two weeks since we were altogether you may not realise yet that this is the last day before the start of the Easter holiday. Normally we would have spent the last few days doing various Easter activities which we all enjoy -  egg hunts, card making and baking.  Did you see the Easter card idea that I sent to you all on Purplemash or have you been busy creating your own? Miss Martindale and I would love to see your creations!

I hope you and your families all have a wonderful Easter.  I’m sure you will all receive lots of chocolate treats to keep your spirits up while staying home. Don’t forget to do some exercise every day if you can to help you stay fit and healthy.

I hope it’s not too long until we can start getting back to normality. I look forward to the day we are all back in our classroom once more.

Happy Easter to you all,

Mrs Ward
