O2 School Choir Concert
Thu 19 Jan 2017The School Choir was part of a 7,295 member choir on Tuesday evening (17.1.17). It was the Young Voices concert and these concerts are organised nationwide. The children sang a huge range of songs from a medley around the musical "Five Guys named Moe" to traditional folk songs from around the British Isles. It was a marvellous experience and one that the children will never forget. Our choir sang their hearts out, were incredibly well behaved and had a wonderful time. Well done to all of the choristers and thank you to Miss Heraty and Mrs Sycamore for helping. -
RE week
Thu 19 Jan 2017RE week has been a very reflective week. We have learnt a lot about Rev James, read bible stories, discussed them, created art work and spent a lot of time thinking. We have decided it is good to stop and think, once in a while! It is a hard thing to do sometimes, but very effective. There have been sessions of Godly Play and some very interesting collective worship with fishing rods! The children will dress up as Bible Characters on Friday, for Bible Day. I wonder who will turn up.. Moses, a whale or maybe even a rainbow?
