  • Advent Market

Mon 26 Nov 2018 Miss Martindale

Our Advent Market was a huge success again this year and it was lovely to see so many of you there supporting the school and the church. We were treated to wonderful, festive performances by the school choir and the Year 5 children and their ukuleles. There were many stall holders selling beautiful gifts, delicious cakes and lots of entertainment for adults and children. Thank you to everyone who supported this event by coming along, running an stall, setting up and packing away. Every pound and every minute of time donated really helps the school and the church to continue providing for our children.

We hope this has helped you to start feeling festive!

  • Worship Group's New Prayer Trail

Sun 25 Nov 2018 Miss Martindale

The Worship Group have been busy creating a new Christmas-themed prayer trail! Can you find all of the 10 parts of the Christmas story hidden around the outside areas of our school? Each card has big questions for you to reflect on as we begin the countdown to a very special time of year.

  • Maths Day!

Fri 16 Nov 2018 Miss Martindale

We have had a lovely day enjoying all things mathematical at St Paul's! While wearing our pyjamas to raise money for Children in Need, we have had the opportunity to do an outdoor maths trail, use the laptops to help us to learn our times tables, build 2D and 3D shapes with marshmallows and cocktail sticks and even learn about some famous mathematicians.

A huge thank you to Mrs McCarthy for organising the day for us!

  • Year 5's Creative Curriculum Assembly

Mon 12 Nov 2018 Miss Martindale
Year 5 treated us to a lovely assembly all about space! We learnt lots and were even treated to a performance of a song they had learnt on the ukulele.
  • KS2 Barbican Theatre Trip

Tue 06 Nov 2018 Miss Martindale
KS2 had a very exciting first day back this term with a trip to the Barbican theatre in London. We were treated to a reading of Presto and Zesto in Limboland, a new book by Maurice Sendak and Aruthur Yorinks. The story was accompanied by live music played the London Symphony Orchestra and it was lovely to hear the children singing along with the songs they had been learning. Thank you to Mrs Webster and Miss Smyth for organising this musical treat for us and also to all of the parents who came along to support.
