Welcome to Year 4!

Autumn 1

Welcome back to a new school year! We hope you had a fantastic summer.

We have a busy and exciting half term ahead planned filled with curiosity, creativity and lots of new learning! 

Here’s a snapshot of what we will be exploring:

🏰 The Tudors: Step back in time to understand Tudor life, including some of the most fascinating people and events from this colourful period of history.

🧪 States of Matter: We will investigate solids, liquids and gases and discover how and why materials change state. 

🏑 Hockey: Developing our passing, dribbling, shooting and teamwork skills as we get active  on the hockey pitch.

✝️ Why do Christians follow God? Exploring Christian beliefs about God and considering how these beliefs influence the way Christians live their lives.

🎨 Tudor-Style Portraits: Getting creative as we study Tudor portraits and create our own artwork inspired by the elaborate clothing, poses and styles of the period. Get ready for some very grand creations!
