Year 5

Welcome to Year 5!

We are half way through the academic year already! Time really has passed quickly. This half term we have more exciting trips and experiences that will keep us busy up until Easter.

Have a look at what we have been learning about so far in our pictures below. We will be adding lots more throughout this half term.

Our topic this half term is all about rivers. Wed will be learning about the water cycle and the stages of a river. We will also be learning about why water is such a valuable commodity and how it has been essential to everything from health to trade throughout history. We have an exciting trip coming up to the Museum of London Docklands where we will be exploring the river Thames. In our art lessons we are going to be learning about Salvador Dali and creating our own paintings of rivers inspired by him.

See our curriculum newsletter below to find out more about what Year 5 will be doing this term and remember to keep visiting our website to see all of the things we have been learning about. Take a look at some of our learning  experiences so far.
