Easter symbols art
In RE we went to the woods and used natural materials to make important symbols of Easter such as eggs, crosses, hot cross buns and palm leaves. We then all made crosses using different natural materials using items to represent parts of the story. For example, yellow flowers represented the happy part of the story, stones were used to represent the cave where Jesus' body lay and sticks represented the wood that Jesus' cross was made from.
