Meeting Buddies
Year 6 children visited the Reception classroom to meet their new buddies. This is always a much anticipated visit for both Reception children and the Year 6 buddies, who are a lovely support to the youngest children in the school. The Year 6 children introduced themselves to their new buddy and read them a story. Later in the morning, they accompanied them to the dinner hall and they had lunch together.
I am sure it was a highlight of the week for most children! We look forward to their next visit…
