Mayan Masks
We have been learning about how the Ancient Mayans used masks for three special reasons: to intimidate their opponents in battle, to celebrate weddings and births and to adorn the faces of the dead. In our Art topic, we have been learning about how to create 3D sculptures and have created our own masks using different techniques.
