Our first visits to the woods and the big playground
We have been into the big KS1 playground to explore the pirate ship climbing equipment. The children have learnt to climb up the steps, walk along the bridge, move along the rope netting and climb down safely. We have also taken the bikes, cars and scooters into the playground and the children have been learning to move around the playground weaving in and out of others. We have also been out of the school grounds into the woods and big field hunting for the Gruffalo, building a home for the other characters in the story and going on a wonder walk looking for signs of Autumn.
