Science - the circulatory system
In Spring 1 we have been investigating the heart and the circulatory system. We started by making our own version of blood to see how it's made up:
Red blood cells - cheerios dyed red
Plasma - water with yellow food colouring
White blood cells - rice
Platelets - sprinkles
We then dissected a heart from a butchers to see the different structures in real life.
