In Year 4, we have been learning how to create illusions using a range of sketching techniques. We have created our own scrolls, waves and flags.

Our work is inspired by M.C, Escher whose artwork often had many mathematical elements. We are looking forward to moving on to learn about tessellation so we can recreate Escher’s famous ‘Day and Night’ picture.
