Bible Theme Day
Fri 30 Apr 2021Today we celebrated the Bible with a special theme day. We have really enjoyed listening to Bible stories, using Godly Play, reflecting and dressing up as our favourite Bible characters! Can you spot who we have come as? There are so many wonderful, creative costumes from animals in Noah’s ark, Mary and Jesus, to Queen Esther, David, Joseph and many more!

HRH Prince Philip
Mon 26 Apr 2021Following the death of HRH Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, we had a theme day where we learnt all about his many achievements. Our flautists learnt to play the National Anthem for our commemorative collective worship.

Our library!
Fri 16 Apr 2021We have made some wonderful changes to our library! We now have a beautiful area that certainly promotes a love of reading. We cannot wait to be able to borrow books from the library again. We also now have a small classroom area for group work. Which book will you be looking for first?

Sacred Space Update
Fri 16 Apr 2021We have been busy over the Easter holidays adding a Bible themed sensory path to our sacred space area. We can’t wait to use this space to reflect and pray. Our Worship Group have lots of ideas of how they’d like to add to this space even more so keep a look out!

Easter Service
Fri 26 Mar 2021We braved the rain this morning to all come together outside for our Easter service led by Reverend James. Thank you to Year 2 for helping to tell the story of when Jesus ascended to heaven and sent the Holy Spirit and for leading us in prayer. We hope that you all have a very safe and blessed Easter.

Singing with Rufus
Fri 26 Mar 2021We have been very fortunate to be joined online and in person by Rufus from the Hertfordshire Music Service every week this term. Rufus has been leading us in some very exciting singing workshops which we have all thoroughly enjoyed!

Easter Play
Thu 25 Mar 2021A huge well done to Year 4 and the Year 4 team for putting together a wonderful Easter Play. It has helped us all to remember to true meaning of Easter and to reflect on the events leading up to Jesus' death.

Maths Day
Sun 14 Mar 2021To finish off our first week back at school we had a day dedicated to mathematics. We learnt about how maths is everywhere and in everything that we do. Our activities included problem solving, researching mathematicians, maths in stories, maths in art and maths outdoors. Take a look at some of the exciting things we got up to.
