  • Thank you from Macmillan!

    Tue 24 Nov 2020
A huge thank you to you all for your generous donations at our Macmillan coffee afternoon last half term. We were able to raise an amazing £334 for charity!
  • Remembrance Service

    Wed 11 Nov 2020
Today we were finally able to meet together (socially distanced) for a remembrance service and two minute silence. Year 6 and Reverend James led us with reflections and prayers and Mr Nutton, one of our governors, played The Last Post on the trumpet. It was lovely to hear the children singing together again. It was an emotional experience for us all.
  • Year 4 Class Assembly

    Wed 11 Nov 2020
We were treated to a wonderful class assembly this week from Year 4. They shared their learning from last half term all about The Tudors. The children had learnt a lot about Henry VIII and his wives and how the Church of England was formed. It was very funny and the school really enjoyed being able to watch it online.
  • Learning at St Paul’s

    Fri 06 Nov 2020

One of the things we really miss at the moment is being able to welcome visitors into our school. We love to show our community what we have been learning about and to display work that children have worked so hard on. We thought we would share some of our autumn learning with you all.

  • Creating a Buzz in Nepal

    Fri 16 Oct 2020

Year 3 taught us all about this year's Bishop of St Albans' Harvest Appeal in their harvest assembly. We learnt about Manish, who is making a living for his family by selling organic products made from honey and beeswax. Following a devastating earthquake, many people in Nepal were left without livelihoods. This appeal aims to work with Nepal to help people to start new businesses, enabling them to provide for their families.

We made our own beeswax candles to raise money for the Bishop's Harvest Appeal and was able to raise an incredible £217.50! Well done St Paul's!
