Ufton Court - Anglo Saxon Day
We had a fantastic day immersed in an Anglo-Saxon world at Ufton Court. Dressed in our finest Saxon costumes, we were carding to make thread, using flint and steels to light fires and weave wood to build fences. After looking at some Anglo-Saxon artefacts and holding our own market sales pitches, we learnt all about Saxon crime and punishment. Some people were even punished with the loss of an arm!
