Remembrance Service
Mon 11 Nov 2019Year 6 led us in our collective worship today to help us to remember all those who lost their lives during WWI and WWII. We are very grateful to Anna who came back to visit us and played The Last Post as part of our service. Thank you to Year 6 for helping us to remember those who made, and continue to make, huge sacrifices for us.

Year 2’s Creative Curriculum Assembly
Tue 05 Nov 2019We were treated to a lovely assembly by year 2 this morning who shared all of their learning about The Great Fire of London. It was lovely to see so much artwork and also hear some fantastic writing and singing. Well done Year 2! -
Litter Picking
Fri 25 Oct 2019A huge thank you to Mrs Jones, Mrs Turnbull & her son Josh, Mrs Lazenby, Mrs Hawkes & her mother and Mrs Priestley for their hard work with clearing litter from outside our school grounds. It has made a huge difference and is very much appreciated. -
Forest School Day
Fri 25 Oct 2019We have had a lovely day learning and exploring outdoors. We have been den building, stick lashing, painting and cooking in the forest school. We have also been doing maths, English and science outdoors! A huge thank you to Mrs Sturgess for organising our day and also to Mr Soden, the governors and parent volunteers for all of their support. The children have thoroughly enjoyed the day and will treasure these memories and learning experiences.

Fire Service Assembly
Mon 14 Oct 2019We had a special assembly today from the fire service. They came to talk to us about how to stay safe around bonfire night. We learnt about what to do to stay safe near a fire, when watching fireworks, holding sparklers and what to do if we ever found a firework. We found out how to keep our pets safe too! -
St Paul’s Macmillan Coffee Morning
Fri 27 Sep 2019A huge thank you to all of the staff, parents, children and visitors who baked and brought cakes for our coffee morning. Also a huge thank you to everyone who donated to this wonderful cause by buying some cake!

Year 5 and 6 Visit The Houses of Parliament
Wed 25 Sep 2019Year 5 and 6 took the train into London today to visit Westminster Palace. We had a tour of the House of Commons and the House of Lords before enjoying a workshop all about the journey to democracy. -
Sports Week Launch
Mon 24 Jun 2019It's National Sports Week this week. Today we have learnt about the Cricket World Cup which is currently taking place here in England. A big thank you to Mr Gallagher for offering his time to come and coach Y1-6 in how to play the game.
We enjoyed a lunch time on the field with our Junior Game Makers leading games for us all to play!

Year 2's Creative Curriculum Assembly
Tue 18 Jun 2019Thank you to Year 2 for a wonderful assembly all about the Victorians. It was lovely to hear your diary entries, see your artwork and watch you renact Victorian games. We all thoroughly enjoyed joining in with your song at the end! -
Pentecost Experience
Mon 10 Jun 2019A huge thank you to Mrs Jackson and Reverend James for providing the children with a wonderful Pentecost experience today. The children moved around different stations set up within the church to reflect on the Pentecost journey. The different stations included waiting, receiving, telling, doing, sharing and growing. The children have come away with excellent knowledge of Pentecost and why it is so important to Christians. They have also reflected on how Jesus’ followers felt during this time.
