Operation Christmas Child - Shoe Box Collection
Wed 15 Nov 2017Thank you everyone who has donated a shoe box filled with gifts for a child to open this Christmas. We have collected a grand total of 102 boxes! -
Our Remembrance Service
Fri 10 Nov 2017Today we held a special Remembrance Service at school to remember all those who have lost their lives through war. Worship Group led a beautiful service with readings, prayers and a very special performance of The Last Post on the cornet. The whole school showed respect and maturity throughout the service. Our wreath will now be laid at the memorial at St Paul's Church this Sunday by some of the members of School Council. -
Key Stage 2 Theatre Trip
Fri 10 Nov 2017The children had a lovely afternoon on Thursday visiting Milton Keynes theatre to see the story Awful Auntie by David Walliams performed on stage. Every child was a credit to the school as an audience and thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Thank you to all of our parent helpers and especially Ms Dockrell for organising a wonderful experience for the children. -
Year 5 Fun Run
Tue 07 Nov 2017Congratulations to the Year 5 Elite Boys and Year 5 Elite girls who came first in their Year 5 cross country run today. All of the Year 5 children ran amazingly well in the fun run despite the weather and demonstrated excellent sportsmanship to other teams and runners. A huge well done to all! -
November Birthdays

Year 5 Coffee Afternoon
Mon 06 Nov 2017Thank you to all of the Year 5 parents and carers that supported our coffee afternoon fundraiser last week. If you made a cake, brought a cake or stayed to help sell them you have helped to raise much appreciated funds for our school! -
Poppy Selling!
Tue 31 Oct 2017The year 6 children have done a wonderful job so far this week selling poppies throughout the school. Please remember to bring in a donation for a variety of poppy themed accessories! We would like to raise as much money as possible for the Royal British Legion. Keep an eye out for the year 6 children selling them at playtimes. -
Watford Foodbank Donation
Fri 20 Oct 2017A huge thank you to every child that brought in an item for our Harvest collection. The volunteers from the Watford Foodbank who came to collect the donations were overwhelmed and extremely grateful. They have taken all of the food back to the foodbank to be weighed and then distributed to those who need it. I will let you know the total weight of the food donated as soon as we find out. Thank you also to Year 5 for helping to pack the food into crates. -
Harvest Collection
Mon 16 Oct 2017A big thank you to year 3 for leading a fantastic harvest assembly and to all families who have brought in an item of food for the local food banks. As a school we have a total of 223 items. Showing that if we all give a little we can make a big difference. -
October Birthdays
Mon 02 Oct 2017The October birthday service at church was lovely this morning. The children all enjoyed receiving their birthday cakes and candles. Revered James led us in our worship, thinking about how God is always there to listen to our worries and to support us with them. God knows what our worries are and what we need.
