St Paul's is 50!
Fri 10 Mar 2017On Wednesday March 8th we had a wonderful service of celebration at school to commemorate 50 years of our Main Building and the change from The Old School House in the hamlet of Langleybury to the bigger building further up Langleybury Lane.
The Bishop of St Albans led our service, Rev James read a prayer, The School Council talked about memories of years gone by, The School Choir sang, The Worship Group led the school in prayer and the House and Vice House Captains made statements of commitment on behalf of the pupils.
We were joined by our Governors and past members of staff and pupils, which was lovely.
We all enjoyed a tasty lunch provided by Caterlink and even cut a special cake and sang " Happy Birthday!"
It was a lovely day with Year 6 showing our visitors around the school. The school looked splendid and there were many wonderful comments about the school and the service. The children were marvellous.
Thank you to all who contributed and here is to the next 50 years!
