On World Book Day, the children looked great dressed up as a book character. We shared our favourite stories and created a sock puppet which the children can use to retell stories in the puppet theatre. Throughout the day, we focused on the use of drama to bring familiar stories to life, creating freeze frames and actions to retell a story.A highlight of the week has been the Masked Reader and they really enjoyed chanting ‘take it off, take it off’ each afternoon in anticipation of unmasking the next reader.
