Walk on Water

Isle of Wight

A fantastic last day...

The sun came out for our last day and it was definitely the best day yet. From start to finish year 6 didn’t stop smiling. We enjoyed our adventures at Robin Hill and then moved on to Queen Victoria’s house. Year 6 were completely fascinated and it was amazing to see how well everything had been preserved. We ended the night with burgers and multiple hole in ones at the caddy shack!

Our evening beach adventure!

Year 6 loved spending their evening on the beach! They went for a dunk and tried not to freeze. The children then ended the day playing some games in the sand and taking a quiet stroll back to the hotel!

Exploring Carisbrooke Castle and visiting the RNLI!

Year 6 enjoyed exploring the castle and learning about its history. They were able to explore the ruins and even met a couple of furry friends. After, we went to the lifeboat station and learnt all about the amazing work the volunteers do to help people to safety. Year 6 even learnt a few tips in case they get stuck at sea!

Fossil hunting and Shanklin Chine yesterday!

Fossil hunting and Alum Bay!

We have enjoyed a fantastic day hunting for fossils, learning all about dinosaurs and watching the process of glass and sweets being made. We even had a taste test. This evening, we will be wandering down to Shanklin Chine to see the waterfalls.

Somehow, even after a busy day the children still aren’t tired!

We have arrived!

We enjoyed walking around the Mary Rose before departing on the ferry! We are all settled into the hotel and enjoying some free time playing games.
